Crystal Palace striker Sullay Kaikai has joined Shrewsbury Town on loan until 16 January 2016, the Premier League side have announced.
Kaikai, who started his career at Crystal Palace when he was fifteen is hoping his move to the Sky bet League One side will help his development and he is in line to make his debut on Saturday against Crewe in front of his new fans.
The 20-year-old, whose parent hailing from Sierra Leone is a product of the academy at Selhurst Park.
He spent last season on loan at Cambridge United and scored against Shrewsbury Town in the 1-1 draw with the U’s at Greenhous Meadow in the 2014/15 campaign.
The 5ft 11 inches striker is now looking forward to a new chapter in his development at the Greenhous Meadow.
“I’m very excited- it’s a chapter that I’m looking forward to a lot,” Kaikai told his club website.
“I want to contribute to the team and help them as much as I can.
“I don’t know too much about Shrewsbury, but I’ll get to know a few of the lads staying at the hotel I’m staying at so I’ll get to know the faces.”
He registered his first professional goal, in the second round of FA Cup replay, in a 1-0 win over Mansfield Town.
The youngster over the years has already enjoyed loan spells at Crawley Town and Cambridge United.
