Cameroon crashed out of the CAF U23 Championship race at the Stage Omnisports de Yaoundé on Saturday afternoon as Sierra Leone reached the final round on away goals.

The young Sierra Leone U23 side came from behind with a large slice of good fortune to defeat host Cameroon showing great character before they were awarded a penalty in the last minute of normal time.

Team Skipper Sorie Barrie converted the spot kick to give his side the equaliser in front of a dejected Cameroon fans.
