Wobay, 31, had played his first official game in Slovenia against Koper, which ended in a 2-0 win for the Sierra Leonean new club on Sunday as the Dragon’s maintained their hunt for the title.
Olimpija moved six points clear at the top of the table with goals from 21-year-old Slovenian Miha Zajc and experience Serbian Miroslav Radovic in the 70th secured victory for the home side.
Wobay was taken off in the 66th minute and Miroslav Radovic came on in his place. The former East End Lions attacking midfielder signed on a one-and-half year deal for the Slovenian league leaders.
Wobay is expected to be part of the NK Olimpija’s side that will take on the thirteen times title holders NK Maribor in a derby contest on Saturday at Ljudski Vrt Stadium.
