Kei Kamara is still searching for his first goal since joining New England Revolution in May this year from Columbus Crew.

The Sierra Leonean was very successful in 2015 season with Columbus Crew netting 26 goals in total but he missed out on the MLS Cup and the MVP Award won by Toronto’s Sebastian Giovinco.

The former Middlesbrough striker Kamara isn’t concerned by his inability to get off the mark just yet for his new club, as his presence has no doubt sparked the Revolution’s attack.

The 31-year-old is unfazed and told club website, “I think I still have some goals in MLS and I’m not worried at all,” Kamara was quoted as saying said after their win in Vancouver.

“Right now, being part of this team, playing four games – five including Cup games – and getting mostly wins, to me, it’s just perfect.

Kamara is expected to face fellow Sierra Leonean Alhaji Kamara’s DC United this Sunday away at the RFK Stadium hoping he can end his goal drought.

The Revolution are seven points adrift from the Philadelphia Union who are top of the Eastern Conference standings.
