Umaru Bangura admits he was delighted to score his first goal for FC Zurich after helping the Challenge League leaders on to a 5-0 thrashing of Wohlen at the Niedermatten stadium on Sunday.

The defender, who was playing for the first time since his left thumb finger operation, powering a header in the 61st minutes to make it four for the league leaders.

The Leone Stars skipper applied the finishing touch to a well-worked corner kick.

“I’m delighted with the goal, it was my first for the club and you can see that in my celebration,” the Sierra Leone skipper told footballsierraleone.net.

FC Zurich next league match is on Monday, October 17 at home taking on FC Le Mont.
