AFC Eskilstuna striker Buya Turay made a successful start in front of the home fans scoring his first two Allsvenskan 2017 goals against Örebro SK on Saturday at Tunavallen stadium.

But Sierra Leone youngster, who was AFC’s top scorer in Superettan last year with ten goals was left with a “bad feeling” after his side conceded an equaliser in added time.

AFC Eskilstuna failed to win their opening home game as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Örebro SK before 4611 spectators.

Turay scored two brilliant goals in the 47th and 87th respectively – the visitors Örebro SK equalised twice and remained unbeaten.

OSK’s goals were scored by Filip Rogic and Kennedy Igboananike.

The hosts enjoyed the lion’s share of possession and chances but could not take advantage of their lead as Örebro SK edged their way into the game twice, and Turay was frustrated his side could not hold on for all three points at home.

Buya told reporters in his post-match interview: “We should have won the game, so I’m disappointed although I scored two goals.

“We played a great match. We were very excited and try to win but this is football – anything can happen.”

AFC Eskilstuna lost 3-1 away to GIF Sundsvall in their opening day 2017 campaign away from home.
