Brazos Valley Cavalry have confirmed the appointment of former Sierra Leone skipper and Inter striker Mohamed Kallon as an assistant coach.

Prior to his appointment, the former AS Monaco striker was the coach of Houston Dynamo Academy U15 team.

In a statement on their website, the club said: “The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC are happy to announce that the assistant coach for the inaugural season will be Mohamed Kallon. The Cavalry FC is also excited to announce that Andy Rios, Brandon Guhl, and Dominick Falletto have joined the roster.

“Mohamed Kallon has been with the Dynamo Academy serving as the U15 Head Coach. Kallon had a 20-year professional playing history before retiring. The Sierra Leone native became the youngest player to ever play for the Leone Stars at the age of 15.”

The Bryan, Texas-based outfit is an American soccer team Founded in 2017, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Mid-South Division of the Southern Conference.
