Veteran Major League Soccer and Sierra Leone international Kei Kamara was back again on the score-sheet as New England Revolution beat LA Galaxy 4-3 on Saturday night to snap a four-game losing streak.

Kei gave New England a 2-1 lead in 34th minutes after Galaxy’s Daniel Steres have cancelled out Revolution’s Lee Nguyen 16th minutes opener.

Lee Nguyen opened the scoring for Revolution in the 16th, but Daniel Steres tied it in the 22nd. The Leone Stars striker Kamara put New England back on top going into halftime, and Steres made it 2-2 in the 53rd minute.

Banbury’s second goal put New England up 4-2 in the 73rd and Ariel Lassiter added a goal for the Galaxy on the 79th.

Los Angeles (6-10-4) has lost five in a row and has just one win in its last eight games.

This season Kamara has not been at his best but still a force to reckon with in the MLS top flight.

He has only major five goals in 18 appearances as compared to previous seasons.

Revolution next MLS outing will be at home taking on the Philadelphia Union at their Philadelphia Union on Saturday, July 29.
