Ibrahim Kargbo junior is expected to face his father former Sierra Leone captain Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo today in a pre-season friendly.
Crystal Palace’s development team will take on English non-league side Dulwich Hamlet FC at the Champion Hill Stadium.
Kargbo Jrn, 18, who still have one and a half year left on his Palace contract will be hoping to be selected in Richard Shaw’s side as they aim to get up to speed ahead of the start of the season in August.
Kargbo Srn, 35, who recently signed a new one-year contract extension until 2018, could potentially face his boy.
“I will be happy to see this day come true and I wish him all the best of luck, father Kargbo said.
The former Thamesmead Town and Welling United veteran added: “The young striker will be excited to face his dad. I can’t wait, I hope he is in the Palace squad, that will make me a very happy father.” Kargbo senior told footballsierraleone.net
