Sierra Leone and Atvidaberg defender Ishmael Koroma, has said he is happy with his development so far despite his side winless in their opening two league matches.

The Swedish League 1 South-side, Åtvidabergs FF signed the former FC Johansen player on a free transfer deal until 2019.

Koroma believes he has coped well with his new adventure in Sweden but admits he is still learning on the job.

The 21-year-old told Football Sierra Leone is happy with his first two appearances and on a personal level, he hopes to keep progressing.

‘I’ve done well and I am having a great time with my new club, Koroma told Football Sierra Leone online.

“I’m learning very fast and enjoying the moment.

“We have a lot of young players and 90% of the players are new, so we are doing our best to know each other better.

Koroma added: “This is one of the biggest clubs in Sweden and our main aim is targeting promotion.”

They have played to a 1 all draw in their opening two matches of the 2018 Sodra div I season.

Their next outing will be against Oskarshamns Saturday, April 21st at home.
