Sierra Leone striker, Mohamed Buya Turay, scored on his debut for Belgian top-tier side Sint Truiden in it 1-1 home draw against Lokeren on Saturday.
Turay, 23, who started on the bench made immediate impact netting in the 84th minutes after coming on as a 61st-minute substitute to cancel out Guss Hurperts 78th minute opener for Lokeren at the Stayen Stadium.
The result was the third draw in a row for Turay’s new club, but a good way to announce his potential in the Belgian top flight after joining from Dalkurd on Wednesday.
The In-form attacker is expected to be part of the Sierra Leone squad for the matchday two of the African Cup of Nations Qualifier in Hawassa, Ethiopia slated for 9 September.
