BK Häcken have confirmed striker Alhassan Crespo Kamara has left the club by ‘mutual consent’.

The striker, 25, only scored two goals in his last 14 appearances for the club.

Kamara told this medium that he will sign for a new club on Sunday.

“BK Häcken and Alhassan Kamara have agreed to break the contract and the player is, therefore, free to go to another club,” the club said on their website.

“BK Häcken thank Crespo for the time in the yellow-black shirt and wish him luck in the future.”

“Kamara is very dissatisfied with his playing time and we are dissatisfied with his performance so we ended up breaking his contract. There are no “hard feelings”, says club sports director Sonny Karlsson to the football channel.

Kamara joined the Gothenburg-based club in the summer of 2016, from Örebro SK and went on to play over 38 total Swedish matches for BK Häcken during his two-year stay at the club.

Meanwhile, Kamara is on the final list of 23 players named for Sierra Leone 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Ethiopia on 9 September.
