Former AC Milan player Kevin Constant, 31, has joined the Tabriz-based club on a three-and-half-year deal, the club has announced.

The Guinean international has signed his ninth professional contract since 2006 and is expected to play as a defensive midfielder in Tractor Sazi.

Constant career started with the Toulouse’s first-team squad in 2006 before joining Ligue 2 side Châteauroux in 2008.

In September 2010, he was signed by Italian club Chievo on a loan deal, ultimately made permanent in June 2011.

On 20 June 2012, Constant moved to AC Milan on a loan deal and was on 27 July 2013, Milan bought Constant out-right for another €6 million also selling Sierra Leone’s Rodney Strasser to Genoa for €3.5 million on the same day.

In 2014, he joined Turkey’s Trabzonspor, and two years later he returned to Italy to play for Bologna.

On the international stage, Constant made his debut on 14 October 2007, in a 1–3 friendly loss against Senegal.

He scored against Nigeria on 10 October 2010 in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualification against Nigeria and, has gone to play over 25 matches for Guinea.
