Iran’s Persian Gulf Pro League side Zob Ahan SC have confirmed the signing of Nigeria national Ighodaro Christian Osaguona.
The 28-year-old forward has joined the Isfahan-based football club until the end of the season.
Osaguona has had spells with Buffles Parakou (Benin), Shooting Stars and Enugu Rangers (Nigeria), Raja Casablanca (Morocco), KV Mechelen and Westerlo (Belgium) and Umm Salal (Qatar).
He was also a member of the Nigerian national football team and made five appearances for Super Eagles.
He has been in the international wilderness since his appearance against Sudan in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in October 2014.
In another transfer news, Polish 1 Liga leaders Rakow Czestochowa announced the signing of Patrick Friday Eze.
Eze has signed a contract with the club for half a year with an option to extend it by three years.
Eze’s former clubs include Africa Sports, Rad, Napredak Kruševac, Mladost Lučani, Al-Fujairah, Al-Qadisiyah, Konyaspor and Denizlispor
Ex-Golden Eaglets star Chidiebere Nwakali mutually parted company with Rakow Częstochowa three months ago.
