FC Zurich suffered another 2-0 defeat to Napoli as they crashed out of the Europa League against tough European opposition.
The Italians are through to the Round of 16 after a comfortable 5-1 aggregate victory over FC Zurich on Thursday.
The Sierra Leone skipper Umaru Bangura, who captains the Swiss club was unable to save them from another thumping in Italy.
Former Chelsea and Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti made it two straight victories from his first two games in the Europa League with a 2-0 home victory over Zurich.
Goals from strikers Simone Verdi and Adam Ounas in each half at the Stadio San Paolo were enough to condemn their visitors.
Bangura’s club side was making their maiden appearance in the competition round of 32, having made it through to the group phase of the second-tier European competition for the first time in 11 years.
The defeat means FC Zürich have lost each of their four previous away games against Italian opposition in the UEFA Cup/Europa League.
