Coach Didier Gomes has warned that Horoya AC has to be defensively strong in a bid to outshine their host Wydad Casablanca in CAF Champions League quarterfinal on Saturday, 13 April 2019.
Both sides played to a 0-0 draw in their first leg contest in Guinea last week.
The second leg match is expected to be played at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off at 21h00 CAT.
The Guinean side, however, despite a goalless first leg still can qualify on the away goals rule with any score draw in the return game.
“We have to be much stronger, despite being consistent. We have to learn to be very serious on the defensive side,” Gomes said ahead of the Wydad contest.
He added, “If we are confident in the defence, the percentage of chances to qualify can go up. It will be a tough match because it is the top African level.”
“I think we going to honour to Guinean football. In any case, we are going to Morocco without fear.”
