Sierra Leone-born Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on Sunday took to Twitter to express his appreciation after his loan spell come to an end with Ipswich Town.

Chalobah, who was on loan from Chelsea was part of the Paul Lambert side that became the first team to be relegated in the English Football League this season.

The younger defender joined Town on a season-long loan from Chelsea in June 2018.

He posted an appreciation and thank you message to the club that will be playing League One football next season.

“Although the season hasn’t gone as the team would have liked, I’d like to thank everyone at @IpswichTown for accepting me as one of their own,” the Chelsea player stated.

“I’ve learned a lot and have always given my all for the club. Good luck next season, I hope to see you back in the Championship soon ?.”

The Tractor Boys despite already relegated, defeated promotion-chasing Leeds United 3-2 on Sunday in their final Championship league game.

Trevoh, 19, who has international experience with England U19’s and played a part in the European Championship last summer will return to Chelsea ahead of this summer pre-season.
