Kei Kamara’s Colorado Rapids suddenly among the hottest teams in MLS.
Goals from Andre Shinyashiki 43′, Nicolas Mezquida 73′ and Diego Rubio 82nd minutes respectively were enough to beat FC Cincinnati 3-1 on Saturday night.
Kekuta Manneh scored for FC Cincinnati in the 72nd minute from a Roland Lamah pass behind the Colorado defence.
Kei Kamara is still the Rapids leading scorer with seven goals this season.
MAN OF THE MATCH: The Rapids left wing position. Andre Shinyashiki was one of the most dangerous players on the field in his 68 minutes, setting up an open Kei Kamara look and scoring the opening goal. His replacement, Diego Rubio? He only set up the go-ahead goal and provided an insurance tally late in the game.
