Sierra Leone defender, Mustapha Dumbuya, gets his first Phoenix Rising goal in their 4-2 victory over Reno 1868 on Friday night at the Casino Arizona Field.
Dumbuya, who has been a key figure in the Rising campaign this season, help the club stretched their winning streak to 14 consecutive wins in the USL Championship.
Before kick-off, Reno was the second-place team behind Phoenix in the Western Conference standings but unfortunately, fall short against a difficult side.
A brace from Ghanaian Solomon Asante, Junior Flemmings, and Dumbuya was enough despite the visitors scoring twice but was not enough.
Solomon Asante becomes the club’s new career goals leader.
Their next outing will be against Sacramento Republic FC at the Casino Arizona Field, Scottsdale, AZ on Friday.
