Malina youngster El Bilal Touré has signed for French top-flight side Stade de Reims.
The Ligue 1 side announced on Friday the signing of the promising striker.
The 18-year-old winner of the CAN U-20 signed a five-year deal. Born in Côte d’Ivoire and passed through the prestigious Ivoiian Academy, AL FC will join the clubs second-tier side immediately.
“He will initially join the Pro 2 group, the reserve team where his compatriot Fodé Doucouré has been playing since this summer.”
“What we proposed to El Bilal was a structured project. First to acclimatize with French football and European culture, via the Pro 2 where he will rub shoulders with his compatriot Fodé Doucouré in particular,” the club confirmed.
Touré will have to prove himself with the second-tier side forcing his way up to the professional group.
