Conteh, 23, was impressive during Union’s training in Wilmington this week, Football Sierra Leone understands.
The defensive midfielder, who recently parted ways with Indonesia side Persipura Jayapura, has been part of the Sierra Leone 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin.
A first-team deal would presumably fill an international roster spot. However, according to SBNation, he could also be signed to Union II and sent on loan for minutes to meet roster compliance for international players.
