- Sierra Leone right-back Osman Kakay was delighted after his English Championship side Queen Park Rangers opened their 2020/2021 campaign with a win.
- Lyndon Dykes netted on debut for QPR in their opening day 2-0 Championship win over Nottingham Forest at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Saturday.
Kakay has been a regular for the London side since his first senior starts in 2-1 defeat against Fulham in June 2020.
After a goalless 45-minutes, QPR’s Lyndon Dykes scored from the penalty spot early in the second half.
Sabri Lamouchi’s men were left disappointed after several missed chances as Ilias Chair sealed the points in added time.
Kakay, 23, registered his first senior goal in Queen Park Rangers 3-2 defeat against Plymouth Argyle in their EFL Cup first-round knockout last Saturday.
QPR’s next outing will see then travel on Friday to Amadou Bakayoko’s Coventry City, who lost to Bristol Rovers 2-1 in their opener.
