- LA Galaxy II in-form striker Augustine Williams wants to hit double figures for the season.
- Williams, 23, who scored a brace helping his side to a comeback 3-2 win over Las Vegas Lights on Wednesday, admitted that he is definitely aiming at double figures before October 13 last regular-season game.
The Sierra Leone-born has already registered nine goals in 12 appearances in this campaign surpassed his seven goals last season.
“The first priority is to make playoffs, then everything else will fall into places. Also, I’m definitely aiming to double my figures in this campaign,” Williams told FSL News.
“Scoring for the team definitely means a lot to me knowing we’re trying to make the playoffs and every game is significant from now on.”
“To get a win like Wednesday puts us in a great place as we are trying to get high up the table.”
The former Portland Timbers 2 added, “I’m happy, the team is happy we got the job done on Wednesday. Now, we rest and get ready to go again next week.”
Williams will be hoping he can continue his good scoring run against San Diego Loyals on Wednesday.
