- A brace for Sierra Leone-born Augustine Williams and a goal from Jorge Hernández were enough as LA Galaxy II clinched a second-consecutive USL Championship Playoffs.
Williams has taken his tally to 12 goals in Galaxy II 3-1 victory over Orange County SC on Wednesday night at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The 23-year-old is also in the race for the USL golden boot with the second-highest goals in the USL Championship this season.
The in-form striker is one of the three new faces named by the Sierra Leone head coach John Keister for their first national assignment for October 9th friendly date in Mauritania.
In a brief chat with FSL, Williams said after his goals, “I can do all things as Christ strengthens me.”
