- LA Galaxy II striker Augustine Williams has been named to the 2020 USL Championship All-League First Team after his impressive form this campaign.
- Williams, who recorded seven goals in his last eight games during the final stretch of the season, was also named USL Championship’s’ Player of the Month for September/October.
His goals lead the Galaxy II to a second consecutive trip to the USL Championship Playoffs.
The 23-year-old finished the campaign with 13 goals two assists to finish second in the race for the Championship’s Golden Boot.
His total also tied for second in the Galaxy II’s history for goals in a single season, trailing only Jack McBean’s standout 2016 season that saw the former Los Dos forward earn All-League First Team honours.
The Sierra Leone-born was invited for friendly matches against Mauritania and Niger but due to club commitment was unable to make the trip.
He was voted by club’s management and a league-wide media panel that included representation from every USL market.
