Sierra Leone international George Davies has signed a contract extension with Austria top-tier side SKN St. Pölten until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Davies, 24, who initially joined the club in July 2017 after a loan spell with Floridsdorfer AC, will continue at the Austrian Football Bundesliga for two more seasons.
The club says they have clarified two personal details for the coming season.
“The contract with offensive player George Davies has been extended by two years. The 24-year-old legionnaire from Sierra Leone, who has played 58 games for Spusu SKN and scored three goals and four assists, will run until the end of the 2022/2023 season.”
“I’m happy that we were able to provide clarity to George and Michael at an early stage. Both have shown over the course of the season that they can take on important roles within the team,” Sports director Georg Zellhofer noted.
