Winger Kwame Quee scored his first Pepsi-deild goal in Víkingur Reykjavík 3-0 win over former club Breiðablik on Sunday.

The Sierra Leone international goal came in the 90th minutes to wrap up their round four victory.

Goals from Pablo Punyed 14th, Júlíus Magnússon 86th, and Kwame Quee were enough to help Reykjavik stay top of the log.

“I’m pleased with my performance and goal against my former team Blika! I respected them, but I have to do what I love,” Quee told FSL News.

“I love scoring goals as it keeps my spirit high ahead of the upcoming encounter. I was happy to get my first goal since I am back. There was a delay to my arrival due to Visa issues, but all sorted now, and I am here to help the team as we are top of the League.”

He played ten league games with Breiðablik last season before he was sent on loan to Reykjavik, where he featured in six games.

The former FC Johansen player won the 2019 Icelandic Cup on 14 September at Laugardalsvöllur with Víkingur Reykjavik while on the first spell at the club on loan.
