The Egyptian giant club Al Ahly dominated their South African counterparts Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 to win their 10th African Champion League title with goals from Mohamed Sherif, Magdi Afsha, and Amr El-Sulaya sealed victory for Pitso Mosimane’s side.

All three goals came in the second half as the Red Devils achieved their tenth star at Mohamed V Stadium in Morocco.

Mohamed Sherif 57th minute opener led the way as more goals from Magdi Afsha and Amr El-Sulaya, were enough in an empty Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca.

Chiefs, appearing in their first Champions League final, had to play the entire second half with 10 men after Happy Mashiane was sent off on the stroke of half-time for a studs-up challenge.

Al Ahly have now ten CAF Champions League titles under their belt as record-holders Zamalek and TP Mazembe come second with five titles each.
