Defender Fankaty Dabo believes Conventry City can handle any challenge this season following their opening three wins out of four English Championship matches.
Ahead of their trip to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Saturday, the right-back is delighted with the Sky Blues strong start to the season. They’ll face a QPR side that lying one place and one point behind the Sky Blues in the table.
Dabo says that they are not afraid of anyone amongst their ranks after they won three of their opening four fixtures. The Sky Blues have collected nine points sitting 4th on the Championship log.
“We don’t fear anyone anyway because we are who we are and with confidence and momentum anything is possible. Anything is possible in the Championship as we’ve seen with so many seasons, so we’ve just got to keep chugging away really,” he told the clubs website.
Dabo, who agreed on a new three-year deal with the Sky Blues until summer 2023, has featured in every Championship game thus far.
Another Sierra Leonean to likely feature in this tie is right back Osman Kakay, who played for the QPR in their last outing in a 2-0 win over Oxford United in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.
