Old Edwardians new coach Abdulai Bah aka Kaloga, is confident and thrilled after signing a two-and-half-year deal with the May Park Boys.
On Saturday, the new Edwardians acquisition will be leading his side out against Bai Bureh Warriors in Port Loko District in the resumption of the Sierra Leone top tier football season.
The experienced local technician told football in Sierra Leone that starting his reign with Edwards on a good footing will bring confidence to his side moving forward.
“I am looking forward to a tough away game as there are no small teams anymore in the league, but as always, to start well in any job is good,” Bah told FSL News.
“A good away result will bring and increase confidence in the team.”
The former homebased coach also has backing from the club Chairman Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai Esq.
Saffa Abdulai Esq has called on the fan club to support their new head coach Ibrahim Kaloga Bah.
“I think it is paramount for all of us, including the fan club, to rally behind Ibrahim Kaloga Bah so that he can succeed. Our objective is to offer the needed support for him to be a success in this new appointment.”
The May park Boys lost their last game 1-0 to Central Parade on June 12 before the campaign was halted due to the covid-19 pandemic.
