Former FC Johansen defender Raphael Koroma is looking forward to a new adventure in the Kazakhstan Premier League after signing a one-year contract this month.
Koroma, 21, says he is looking forward to top-tier football in the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan.
The defender, who last played for FC Sucleia, a second division team in Moldova, admitted of a great feeling to be a professional.
“I am focused on working hard ahead of the new season next month. The feeling is great to be a professional footballer so excited looking forward to more achievements,” Koroma told FSL News.
“I can wait to get started – the league is competitive, physically of a good standard. Here everyone wants to win to be part of the Europa League also it a good experience meeting with different people of different nationality.”
The 6ft four-inch defender could make his debut on March 5th when his new club hosted Terza.
