Former German youth international Abu Bakarr Kargbo scored a hat-trick as Berliner AK 07 registered a comfortable 5-1 victory over Lichtenberg on Friday.
As a result, Berliner AK 07 moved up to fifth on the log with six games remaining. Kargbo has regained his form scoring seven goals in all competitions since joining the Regionalliga Nordost club.
The 29-year-old returned to his old club Berliner AK in July last year after parting ways with Kickers Offenbach.
Kargbo was born in Sierra Leone but raised in Germany, where he played for the youth U15, U17, and U19 sides.
The former Viktoria Berlin man scored over 30 goals in 57 appearances over two seasons (2018 – 2020) with Berliner AK 07.
