Idris Kanu is a Barnet player after today completing a move from Peterborough United Football Club for an undisclosed fee.
It has also been announced that Idris will wear the No. 11 shirt. The exciting player met up with his new teammates during training on Thursday.
Kanu, 22, arrival is expected to strengthen Dean Brennan’s attack for the 22/23 season.
The Sierra Leone International, who is a versatile attacker, has been handed to improve the Bees’ attack.
Upon joining Barnet, Kanu said,“I am really excited to be here and cannot wait to start playing some games.
“I have come here to get goals, assists and to contribute to a winning team – at the end of the season, I hope we can be up there.”
“I am delighted to sign Idris – he is a player that will bring plenty to our team. I am excited to see his performances. He joins us at a great time. his previous experience will be really welcome,” Barnet coach Dean Brennan told the club’s website.
Idris has previously played for Aldershot Town, Port Vale, Boreham Wood and Northampton Town and has proven himself as a threat across the pitch.
