Emmanuel Samadia celebrated his first top accolade in professional football after Hapoel Rishon Lezion won the Liga Luemit Toto Cup 1-0 at the HaMoshava Stadium on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
The Sierra Leone International, who joined the club in July last year, has been a pivotal figure for Hapoel Rishon Lezion since joining the club.
He initially joined Israeli Liga Leumit club Hapoel Umm al-Fahm on a one-month trial in December 2020 before he signed a two-year contract with the club in January 2021, scoring two goals in 50 appearances.
He then made his way to Hapoel Rishon LeZion on a free transfer in July 2022. He has featuered in 14 games in the 2022/2023 Liga Leumit.
The club is presently ninth in the Israeli second-tier standings after 21 games on 30 points.
Since making his International debut in a 1-0 loss against Niger in October 2020, he has been a regular in coach Joh Keister’s side.
