Queens Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay will miss vital games after the International break. Kakay will be out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury.

The Sierra Leone international suffered the injury in Queens Park Rangers‘s 1-0 defeat to Birmingham City in the English Champions on Saturday, March 18.

The right-back was substituted during half-time after it was clear he can’t continue in the match.

As a result, he pulled out of Sierra Leone’s crucial African Cup of Nation qualification matches against Sao Tome this week.

After a medical examination, he confirmed suffering a posterior capsule tear in his knee. Before his injury, he featured in 23 matches in all competitions for the London club.

Kakay, 25, in recent weeks under new Queens Park Rangers boss Gareth Ainsworth, has been pivotal.
