Guinea Bissau coach Baciro Candé has assured Nigeria of a tough encounter in their Group A African Cup of Nations Match day three qualifiers in front of its fans at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.  The kick-off in Abuja is 5 pm.

Cands’s side finished bottom of Group D at the AFCON in Cameroon after defeats to Nigeria, Egypt and a goalless draw with Sudan.

“We shall do everything possible to beat Nigeria in Abuja as revenge for the loss inflicted on us the last time we clashed at AFCON in Cameroon,” Baciro Cande was quoted as saying.

“We gave it our best but lost at the AFCON in Cameroon. The quality of the Super Eagles gave them the victory.

“But we have improved, and we have learnt from our errors. This time, we will ensure we don’t repeat such again.”

Nigeria led the group after wins against Sierra Leone and São Tomé. Guinea-Bissau in second won against São Tomé and played to a 2-2 draw against Sierra Leone in their opening two matches.
