Coventry striker Bakayoko scored in the win over Fleetwood at the Ricoh Arena.
Coventry City striker Amadou Bakayoko was one of the Sky Blue match-winners in their 2-1 victory over Fleetwood on Tuesday.
Bakayoko’s six-minute opener and top scorer Jordy Hiwula second just before the break ensure they take home maximum points.
Bakayoko, who registered his sixth in the EPL League One this season with four assists, scored his opener from a Town defensive blunder.
Fleetwood regroup and responded well to level the scoreline in the 33rd minute from their captain Evans header.
Former Fleetwood Town player Jordy Hiwula haunts his old side as he curls the ball past the visitor’s keeper for the winner in the 42nr minute.
The victory means Coventry City are three points out of the playoff places.
