The 28-year-old, who suffered from cruciate ligament damage during a training session in August 2020, scored in Kickers Offenbach 6-1 thrashing over Astoria Walldorf at home debut on Tuesday.
Kargbo, who scored over 30 goals in 57 appearances over two seasons with Berliner AK 07, says he was delighted after first for the club following a difficult injury.
“Very pleased with my effort and for the team. I came through a difficult moment after almost ten months out injured. I am looking forward to the remaining games of the season,” Kargbo told FSL News.
The former German U-19 striker was born in Sierra Leone but raised in Germany, where he played for the youth U15, U17, and U19 sides.
