Abu Kamara nets first Portsmouth’s League One goal
Abu Kamara recorded his first in senior football from a close-range effort to give the Blues an interval lead in Portsmouth their 3-1 win over Peterborough on Saturday.
He was provided with an assist for Poole by fizzing a cross towards the defender at the far post. Posh took the lead after 20 minutes as, with plenty of room and only one defender to beat, Ricky-Jade Jones cut inside and curled the ball into the far corner.

After Peterborough midfielder Hector Kyprianou headed against his bar, Pompey stretched their advantage on 59 minutes when a powerful low cross from Kamara saw Regan Poole net from close range.
Joe Morrell saw red for the home side after a second yellow five minutes from time, but John Mousinho’s men held on for the points.
