Mohamed Buya Turay registered his fourth goal of the season on Monday for AFC Eskilstuna in the Swedish top-flight, as they were defeated 2-1 by Djurgårdens at their Tunavellen stadium.
Djurgården scored twice in the 30th and 51st minutes respectively with goals from Senegalese Aliou Badji and former AFC player Othman El Kabir away from home.
The Sierra Leone international, Buya Turay, despite a disappointing season so far is working hard to grab the headlines but his goal was not enough on the day.
Turay scored in the 78th minutes to give his side a life line but they failed to find an equaliser and they lost yet again – their twelfth defeats from 17.
The newly promoted Allsvenskan side AFC Eskilstuna, have only won once this season defeating Kalmar FF 2-1 two weeks ago.
Turay’s side has been struggling all season and they’re first from the bottom looking a team going to be relegated.
AFC Eskilstuna’s next outing is away to IFK Norrköping next Monday, August 7, 2017.
