Striker Augustine Williams named in USL Team of the Week
Sierra Leone International Augustine Willians has been named to the USL Championship Week 21 Team of the Week.
Williams, 25, notched both assists as Charleston rallied for a 2-1 victory against Birmingham Legion FC while completing 15 of 17 passes in a solid all-around display.
His team Derek Dodson, who scored the stoppage game-winner as the Battery rallied for a 2-1 victory against Birmingham Legion FC on Saturday, also named to the team
Both players had a crucial role in the Battery’s 1-2 comeback victory over Birmingham Legion FC on Saturday.
The Battery will look to build upon their five-match unbeaten run in their next game, on Fri., Aug. 4, against Oakland Roots SC at Patriots Point.
Williams has recorded ten goals across all competitions in this campaign for Battery.
